Mary Ann Kurtz, 76, Of Trumbull

TRUMBULL, Conn. – Mary Ann Kurtz (nee Boelter), a lifelong resident of Trumbull, died on June 18 in her home. She was 76.

Kurtz was born in Bridgeport to Alfred and Mary (nee Kaechele) Boelter, graduating from Bassick High School and the University of Bridgeport.

She worked as a medical assistant in physical therapy and internal medicine.

Kurtz was active in the Trumbull community, working with the Ladies Auxiliary Trumbull Volunteer Fire Department, the Daniels Farm PTA and the Trumbull EMS among other organizations.

She was predeceased by her parents, and survived by husband Paul, three sons, Jonathan (Jay) and his wife Daniella (nee Buri), Daniel and his wife Lisa of Stratford, and four grandchildren.

Visiting hours are on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, located at 399 White Pains Road in Trumbull.

Funeral services are on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Trumbull Congregational Church, located at 3115 Reservoir Avenue in Trumbull.

Interment will follow in Long Hill Cemetery in Trumbull.
